The status of the Nigerian girl child encompasses various aspects such as education, health, early marriage, and violence. approximately 10.5 million children aged 5-14 years are out of school in Nigeria, and more than 60% of these are girls. Cultural attitudes, economic constraints, and security issues, particularly in the Northern regions, exacerbate this situation.
